Design A Deck! (8yrs+)

Service Description

You don't have to know what a kick flip or an ollie is to enjoy this workshop! Brainstorm your design and use acrylics to paint your very own skateboard deck - an artwork that's as unique as you are. Feel free to bring some design inspo! Bring a friend or make some new ones - our workshops offer a fun and friendly environment to enjoy your creativity. Please note, skateboard decks are designed to be decorative only - we will seal them with varnish, however, don't recommend skating on them. This workshop is suitable for children aged 8yrs + Cancellation Policy We understand that life with kids is a movable feast, however due to the nature of our small business refunds or credits cannot be issued if you later become unavailable. You are able to transfer your ticket to another name if you wish to find a replacement. Thank you for your understanding. About the Teacher Hi, I'm Adele, and I am an experienced, qualified Art Teacher, with years of experience in classroom and gallery based education. With a Bachelor of Creative Arts and a Masters in Teaching, rest assured your child is in safe hands. What's more, my workshops have been tried and tested on the toughest Art Critics - my own 3 mini makers - aged 6, 9 and 12. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and contact me via the website, or social media channels. FAQ's Does my child need to bring anything? All materials are provided for use during the workshop, including an apron for your child to wear. We recommend they wear clothes that are comfortable, and that they won't mind getting a little grubby. Please also pack a water bottle and small snack for break time. What time should I arrive? Door open 5 minutes before your child's session starts. Our artists are often itching to get started, but we usually wait for everyone to arrive before starting our major art project for the day. Can I book my child into multiple sessions on the same day? 2 Art workshops can be pretty tiring for little people, so we recommend that 1 is enough to ensure your child remains engaged. Please note, we don't offer childcare between sessions.
